2011 PAVING SCHEDULE

The following is a list of areas scheduled for street milling and paving this summer:

1.  Matianuck Avenue (from Sunnyside Circle to Windbrook Drive)

2.  Sunnyside Circle (from Park Avenue to Matianuck Avenue)

3.  Robin Road (from Matianuck Avenue to sunnyfield Drive)

4.  Westridge (from Columbia Road to the cul-de-sac)

5.  Sunnyfield Drive (from Park Avenue to between Fairway Circle and Shelley Avenue)

6.  Kellogg Street (from Lennox Avenue to Preston Street)

Update

Milling and paving of the streets listed above  has been completed by the town's contractors.  A portion of this work is funded by a grant from the State of Connecticut under the Local Capital Improvement Program (LoCIP). Following the paving, public works crews will make repairs to curbing and driveway aprons on these streets.

Additional Road Work

Repairs and improvements to Stone Road between Rainbow Road and Winterwood Drive are under way in preparation for the paving of this section of road later this summer.

Work will involve minor detours and delays during daytime hours.  Residents are requested not to park vehicles in the roadway so that the work can progress in a safe and timely manner.
