Lang Road Reconstruction

Phase 2:

The Lang Road reconstruction project was proposed in order to enhance pedestrian and bicycle safety, improve handicap accessibility, and improve drainage and rideability. This work will include installing sidewalks on the west side of Lang Road, reconstructing the road to 30’ in width with 4’ bicycle lanes, improving the drainage, erecting decorative street lights, and landscaping disturbed areas. The first phase was completed in 2008. This second phase started in August 2009 and was completed by November 2009. This second phase extends from Prospect Hill Road to just past Pheasant Run.

Comments : This contract (Phase 2) was awarded to Paramount Construction of Newington Connecticut. They also were the contractor for the first phase.
