Summer Swim Lessons

Registration for Windsor Recreation and Leisure Services summer swim lessons has begun. Lessons are held on weekday mornings and evening. Swim lessons are American Red Cross Certificated and have a ratio of 8 participants to one instructor. Lessons are $30.00 for the first child, $46.00 for two children and $62.00 for the family maximum per two-week session. Summer Pool Passes

Both Goslee and Welch Pool are open on their weekend schedules. The pools will be open each weekend, weather permitting, until June 23, which at that point the pools will be open on a daily basis. Come make a splash, have fun or enjoy a relaxing day at one of our great pools in town. It is not too late to purchase your summer pool pass. Pool passes can be purchased in the Recreation Office during regular business hours. Family season pass is $60.00, Adult season pass is $35.00 and child or senior season pass is $25.00. Daily entrance fee is $2.50 for adults and $1.50 for children or seniors. Come and have a splash of a time!!
Weekend pool hours for both pools are as follows:
12pm-1pm Lap Swim
1:15pm-4:45pm Open Swim
5pm-6pm Family Swim

Summer Fun Playground

Summer is fast approaching! Don’t wait till last minute to sign up for the Windsor Recreation and Leisure Services Summer Fun Playground. Summer Fun Playground is for children ages 5-13. Let your child spend their summer playing sports, creating arts & crafts, and taking fieldtrips while making new friends. Fieldtrips will include adventures all over the state from a New Britain Rockcats game to Mystic Aquarium, and much more. Summer Fun Playground participants will have their own swim time each day. Swim lessons are also available! Camp runs Monday – Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. for only $95 a week (less than $20 a day). Extended hours are also available from 7:30 A.M. – 9:00 A.M. or 4:00 P.M. – 5:30 P.M. for only and extra $20 a week each session. Camp begins June 23, 2008 and will run through August 15, 2008.
