Council Chambers – Town Hall
June 16, 2003
Approved Minutes
Present: Mayor Trinks, Deputy Mayor Curtis,
Councilor Albano, Councilor Broxterman, Councilor
Jepsen, Councilor Mulligan, Councilor Pacino,
Councilor Simon, and Councilor Walker
Mayor Trinks called the Public Hearing to order at
7:15 p.m. for a bond ordinance for Public Safety Radio
System.
Public Comment
Mr. Timothy Connolly, 895 Worthy Street, supports
the upgraded public safety radio system. The upgrade
is in the best interest of the citizens in the town as
well as police and safety personnel. The upgrade will
enhance any future homeland security issues. He is in
favor of the expenditure.
Mr. Bradshaw Smith, 23 Ludlow Road, asked what the
term of the bond on the proposed project is. It is in
his opinion that the terms should be disclosed prior
to the public hearing, not during the council meeting.
The Public Hearing adjourned at 7:22 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Kristin Countryman
Clerk of the Windsor Town Council
