Community Service Volunteers Continue Good Work

Windsor CARES conducts a variety of programs and projects that assist the residents of Windsor throughout the year. Twice each year they host two fundraisers to fund their projects. This past month the group hosted its annual Soup & Salad fundraiser and raised nearly $500 more than what they typically do with this fundraiser.

NWP Pancake Breakfast

Bring your appetite for a full breakfast at Northwest Park on Saturday, March 24th from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  In addition to enjoying pancakes smothered in 100% pure maple syrup made right at Northwest Park, the Windsor Masons will be hosting CHIPS, a child identification program.  Cost for the breakfast is $5.00 for adults and $4.00 for children with the proceeds benefiting the Friends of Northwest Park.  Call 860-285-1886 for a reservation.

Flashlight Egg Hunt

Children ages 1 to 12 can hop to the town green on Friday March 30th for the annual Flashlight Egg Hunt.  The event is scheduled from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM and includes arts and crafts, games and the flashlight egg hunt at 7:30 PM.  Bring your own camera and get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny.  This is a free event.  For more information call 860-285-1990.
