The season is from January through mid March. There are no playoffs. The cost is: $55.00 per participant. All participants must attend at least one clinic in December. Registration starts September 5. You may register at the recreation office, 599 Matianuck Avenue or online at www.townofwindsorct.com/recreation . Deadline for registration is December 2, 2017. December 3-16 there is a $15 per person late registration fee if space allows. There will be no registration taken at the clinics.
Windsor Instructional Basketball League is seeking Volunteer coaches. Volunteer coaches make the WIBL program possible. We are currently in need of coaches, both beginner and experienced, for our recreational league. All volunteers must fill out a criminal background check consent form. The first step, assembling the WIBL programs starts with you as a coach. The start of a successful program is training. Training dates and times will follow. The league runs from January through March with clinics in the month of December. If you’re not sure about head coaching a team, assistant coaching can be arranged. Volunteering is fun and rewarding! Come to the Recreation office now through November 18 to let us know you are interested. For more information contact the Recreation office at 860-285-1990.
