Free Medical Equipment Loaning Closet - Our medical lending service loans out over 200 wheelchairs, walkers, canes, bath chairs etc. to Windsor Seniors every year. This free service saves seniors in our community hundreds of dollars every year. Seniors borrow the equipment for any length of time and return it when they no longer need it. We accept donated equipment in good condition Monday to Friday.
Free Video Lending Library - Our free video lending service allows patrons of the Senior Center the ability to borrow V.H.S. movie tapes for free. This service operates on the honor system.
Senior Internet Cafe - Seniors in our community can enjoy free internet service Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 5:00. We also offer several computer based classes per month, listed in the Windsor Senior's Newsletter.
Meals on Wheels - is a program designed for seniors who need food brought in to them. The Visiting Nurses Association 860-493-7310 will work with the client to determine the number of days meals are needed and the price of the meals. In summer months clients are asked to have coolers outside their door for the volunteer deliverers to leave the meals.
The Elderly Nutrition Program - Serves a hot lunch for seniors 60 years and older, Monday through Friday at 11:45 am. Reservations should be made by calling 860-285-1843. A donation of $2.00 is requested. Guests under 60 are asked to donate $4.50.
