Day Hill Corporate Area Planning Study
The Town of Windsor is conducting a Day Hill Corporate Area Planning Study to guide the future development and use of this important economic corridor. This study aims to shape a vision that balances land use, transportation, and economic feasibility while addressing current trends like the rise of remote work and an increase in vacant office spaces.
Why This Study Matters
The Day Hill Corporate Area (DHCA) is a key part of Windsor’s economy. With changes in how and where people work, it’s time to rethink how this area can evolve to meet community and market needs. The study will explore:
- Current land use patterns.
- Market demand for residential, office, retail, and industrial uses.
- Opportunities for mixed-use development and multifamily housing.
- Recommendations for reusing or redeveloping underutilized office spaces.
By assessing these factors, the study will offer solutions that benefit residents, businesses, and Windsor’s long-term growth.

Your Voice Matters
As part of the planning process, we want to hear from you! On November 21, we held an open house at Town Hall with interactive stations to gain feedback on the Day Hill area today and a vision for the future. We simultaneously hosted an online meeting for residents who could not make it to the in person open house. A recording of the online session can be found below.
