Act It Out! Drama Workshop offers an innovative experience for grades K-5 incorporating theatre games and exercises that help younger and older elementary school students develop performance skills. Activities for younger children emphasize imagination and creative movement while exercises for older students deepen understanding of character, setting and action. Working separately and together, participants explore thematically linked stories and poems as they create unique Sharing for family and friends. Throughout the process each child can shine individually and within the group and increase confidence working with peers on and offstage.
