Kat Owens is a pollution researcher and professor from University of Hartford who uses plastic to create life size portraits of animals impacted by plastic debris. Join us at the Wilson Branch Library from 10:00 AM to noon to meet Kat and view some of her artwork. In addition to teaching us about plastic pollution, Kat will invite participants to sew along to create our own Plastic Animal Portraits. All ages.
