Decomposition

In celebration of Earth Day, come out to Northwest Park’s Organic Garden to explore the important role
decomposers play in the food chain by recycling nutrients and breaking down decaying materials. Search
the forest floor and our garden compost bins for evidence of decomposers and learn how you can start
your own compost bin with food scraps at home! Ages 5-12. $10 Windsor Residents; $13 Nonresidents.
Participants must preregister as space is limited.
