DIY 1,000 Paper Cranes Kit 

According to Japanese legend, if you fold 1,000 origami cranes you will be granted one wish. In some variations of the tradition, you may be granted happiness and eternal good luck, such as long life or recovery from illness or injury. Join us to help make one thousand origami cranes to be displayed at LP Wilson Community Center to help spread hope. You’ll receive a YouTube instructional video on how to make the cranes, followed by an interactive zoom call. Each kit will include 40 pieces of origami paper to create the cranes, as well as practice paper. Kits will include a special YSB tote bag and other giveaways.

Kits will be delivered on Wednesday, November 4th. The Zoom call will be on Wednesday, November 4th at 6:30pm. Completed cranes must be returned before Monday, November 23rd to the YSB located at L.P. Wilson Community Center, 599 Matianuck Avenue.

Location: Your home! All virtual, no in-person participation (except drop-off).
