Dream Jar

Monday, February 1 – 10:00 am to 11:00 am

This month is Black History Month. Every other day this month, we’ll be featuring a different Black American who made a difference in American history and world history. Additionally, we’ll have a Dream Jar out to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech. Teens are invited to come in and write down their dreams and put it in the jar. Who knows? The jar may be magical and make the dreams come true! The Dream Jar will be at a table in the lobby with some of our favorite reads from Black writers and creators! February 1 – 28
