Everything but the Turkey – Second Saturday Hearth Cooking with Becky Hendricks, at Windsor Historical Society’s Strong Howard House is today from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  Prepare scrumptious colonial dishes on the open hearth. Sample each other’s creations, then take some leftovers home. Choose between Sherried Sweet Potatoes, Sauced Apples, Carrot Pudding, Onion Pie, Wild Mushroom Pie, Sweet Potato Biscuits, Creamed Celery with Pecans, and Apple-Currant Relish. Pre-registration needed as we are limited to 6 participants, ages 12 and up.
