Holiday Sweet Treats – Second Saturday Hearth Cooking with Becky Hendricks at Windsor Historical Society’s Strong Howard House today from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Prepare scrumptious colonial dishes on the open hearth. Sample each other’s creations, then take some leftovers home. Choose between Portugal Cakes, Almond Macaroons, Jumbles, Apple Charlotte, Everlasting Syllabub, Queen’s Cake, Comfits of Orange Rind, Gingerbread Cakes, Wafers with Red Currant Crème and Brandied Nuts. Pre-registration needed as we are limited to 6 participants, ages 12 and up.
