Invasive Plant Hike

You’ve probably heard of some the common plant species that have invaded our local ecosystems;
Bittersweet, Barberry, Knotweed, etc. But how well do you know them? On this hike we will get to
know them better by not only identifying invasive species at Northwest Park and exploring their roles in
the ecosystems, but also by discussing what can be done with them. Discover which of these invasive
plants can be foraged and eaten in spring, used for furniture, as well as numerous other uses. Ages 14+
$12 Windsor Residents; $16 Nonresidents. Participants must preregister as space is limited.
