Northwest Park invites home school students ages 5 to 12 to join us for Rain, Rain, Don’t Go Away. Water is a vital part of our lives, and when winter is over, it seems like water is just everywhere! For us humans, we can turn on a faucet and have water at our fingertips; but for wildlife, they have to wait for the rain. Students will explore what this abundance of water means for animals and their habitats, but also the importance of water in our daily lives. Choose from morning session (10:30 AM to 11:30 AM) or the afternoon session (2:00 PM to 3:00 PM). Registration needed. $12.00 per student (resident). $15.00 (nonresident). 860-285-1886.
