The Lost Acres String Band

The Main Library welcomes The Lost Acres String Band from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM for a concert filled with blues, Hispanic dance tunes from New Mexico, a classic by the African-American string band The Mississippi Sheiks, swing tunes from the 1930’s, a Ray Charles ballad, Irish and old-time New England fiddle tunes, a bluegrass number by Flatt & Scruggs, and lilting folk music from Colombia.
