Windsor Ninja Academy

Windsor Ninja Academy

The Windsor Ninja Academy does not provide a typical fitness experience. Incorporating elements of agility, coordination, and strength training, the facility provides classes, workshops, and even birthday parties that focus on obstacle training. Their classes and events have been providing a way for Windsor residents to have fun, try something new, and improve their physical and mental health for five years; but even ninjas are not immune to COVID-19. When the pandemic hit, the academy was closed for months. Even after opening its doors again, the volume of customers has still not reached pre-pandemic levels. Until they are able to fully enroll in all their classes and programs, the facility will be struggling with higher costs for staff and goods. The $10,000 provided through the ARF grant will provide a buffer for the business until they can reach their pre-pandemic capacity. They plan to use the funds to maintain their increased levels of cleaning and disinfecting, so people can feel comfortable coming to the facility, and they can keep all their ninjas safe and healthy.
