Wende Cooper: Juvenile Review Board Case Manager
Wende has been with the Juvenile Review Board (JRB) for 2 years as a Case Manager and has been a great addition to the YSB team. If a youth is mandated for a Juvenile Review Board hearing, she is the first one to reach out to the family and setup an intake meeting. At the intake she provides information to the family about the JRB process, answers any questions, and collects information to prepare the board for the hearing. She is compassionate, thoughtful, and overall wants to help each family overcome a difficult time.
Wende is knowledgeable in the field of mental health and prevention. She has a great work ethic and with little supervision she is able to complete detailed tasks thoroughly and in a timely manner. Her job performance, organizational skills, and time management skills exceed all expectation.
In addition, Wende states that what she enjoys the most about her job is connecting with people in the community. Her favorite movie is “To Kill a Mocking Bird”, favorite food is sea food or anything ethnic, favorite professional team is the N.Y. Yankees and her hobbies are the following; gardening, cooking, boating, animals and painting. Great job Wende and keep up the good work!
