A 7-week theatre experience for $80
For students grades 6-8
Exploring improvisation, movement, and vocal techniques for the stage, participants build performance skills through character analysis and scene study. Students develop a process for approaching a script and discover how to bring their own unique talents to portraying a role. Working individually and collaborating with partners, they work on scenes and monologues from scripted plays or create their original pieces. The class culminates with a Sharing of selections of their work.
