Ages 18 and older are invited to join us on March 18 & April 1 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for a 2 Part certification course taught by a Mental Health & First Aid (MHFA) Instructor from CHR. Course location is the Millbrook Clubhouse, 147 Pigeon Hill Road, Windsor, CT. This course is available for Windsor Residents only. Lunch is provided. Pre-assessment is required before attending the first session.
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults.
You’ll build skills and confidence you need to reach out and provide initial support to those who are struggling. You’ll also learn how to help connect them to appropriate support.
