About R.I.S.E. After School

R.I.S.E. Begins Monday, August 28 and continues monthly sessions through the ’23-’24 school year.

R.I.S.E. Elementary (Gr. 1-5) and R.I.S.E. Above (Gr. 6-7) are well-supervised, engaging after school programs held together at the 330 Windsor Avenue Community Center. Children enjoy engaging games, sports, arts and crafts, healthy snacks, homework assistance, the “WinZone” Indoor playscape and supervision from our trained and caring Recreation Leaders. 

Transportation is provided from all Windsor Public Schools to the community center (included in pricing). The R.I.S.E program follows all Windsor Public Schools cancellation policies. If you have any questions or concerns, please call our office at 860-285-1990.

Important Registration Information

Ready to register? First, please download the R.I.S.E. ’23-’24 Registration Forms and fill in all information. Then, bring the completed forms to the recreation office located at the L.P. Wilson Community Center. Our office is open Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. After you sign up for the first month, you’ll be able to conveniently sign up for future months right at the R.I.S.E. program when you come to pickup your participant.

The Home of R.I.S.E. – About Our Community Center

Our safe and secure community center at 330 Windsor Avenue features of a full-size gymnasium for indoor activities, the “WinZone” indoor playscape, multiple classrooms for homework help, reading time, and appropriate age-based groupings, a game room with tabletop games like ping pong and air hockey, and a full kitchen to prepare healthy snacks. The community center also has direct access to Sharshon Park fields and outdoor playground.
