Sarah Lattimer: Northwest Park Camp Teacher
This is Sarah’s first year as a staff, but has volunteered the last two years as a junior counselor. Sarah has improved the quality of our program with her superb organizational skills and preparedness. Her passion for working with children is shining. Sarah also, has demonstrated performance excellence by greeting parents with a smile, introducing herself in a very welcoming manner to her campers, and for being thoroughly prepared for her day with the children. She researched games, had new ideas how to teach about the frog life cycle, and had spent extra time organizing her lesson plan binder for quick and easy access to the lesson. Her passion for working with children was shining.
Sarah states that what she enjoys the most about her job is when she can see the children having fun and eager to come back the next day. She adds that she truly likes making summer fun for them! Sarah’s favorite movie is the original Jumanji, her favorite food is chicken, favorite professional team is the New York Yankees and her hobbies are swimming, spending time with my dogs, and reading.
In conclusion, Sarah has helped improved the quality of our program with her superb organizational skills and preparedness.
