Windsor Citizen’s Academy

Citizen’s Academy Class of 2018

Come join us for the 2019 Windsor Citizen’s Academy

Since 2005, more than 200 Windsor residents have graduated from this specially designed program where you will learn things about Windsor that you never knew before!

It’s a fun opportunity to learn more about the services the Town of Windsor provides, how they are funded, a look at our day-to-day operations, and how you can get involved. The interactive Citizen’s Academy meets on Thursday evenings and focuses on how daily government operations contribute to a better community. During the program, participants will have the opportunity to:

  • view some of Windsor’s historical documents and how they are cared for
  • go behind the scenes and see what happens when you call 911
  • see the latest firefighting equipment and learn how our volunteers react immediately to alarms
  • think filling a pothole is easy? How is snow removal coordinated during heavy winter storms? Learn how Windsor’s Public Works experts do it.
  • tour the town
  • meet a variety of town staff, learn their roles and ask any questions you like!

This is a free program for the first 30 people who register by calling 860-285-1835, filling out the below form or by email at:
