Facilities Update

Update on facility closures due to COVID-19

Town Hall and Facilities Closed to the Public

Town Hall and other facilities will remain closed to the public through at least April 22, 2020 per the Governor’s ‘Stay Home, Stay Safe Initiative’ except by appointment for essential services only.

The Town of Windsor is asking our community to help reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and protect our residents, especially those most vulnerable. The Town has closed the following facilities and cancelled all programs and activities through at least Wednesday, April 22, 2020:

  • Main Library & Wilson Branch Library
  • Senior Center & L.P. Wilson Center
  • Community Center at 330 Windsor Ave
  • Caring Connection Adult Day Care Program
  • Public Works Facility at 99 Day Hill Road
  • Northwest Park Nature Center and Tobacco Museum and Archive Buildings
  • Windsor Montessori and Discovery Center
  • Town Hall

The Transfer Station will be open during its regular hours.

Please call the department with which you need to do business as we have modified operations to appointment only for essential services. If your request is deemed essential and cannot be conducted electronically or rescheduled for a later date, a staff member will make an appointment with you.

We encourage residents utilize our e-government or online services at www.townofwindsorct.com as well as contacting town departments. We may be able to help you complete your business remotely. This will save you a trip and help ensure individual and community health.
