Hazardous Materials Abatement

A forgiveness loan is available for the following:

• the cost of lead abatement
• the cost of asbestos abatement
• the removal of underground fuel tanks

The loan has a maximum of $5,000 and will be forgiven over a period of 10 years at a rate of 10% per year.

The eligibility requirements and guidelines are the same as for the housing rehabilitation program.
