Club Fitness

Club Fitness has been a place for Windsor residents to get a good workout for 15 years. Located on Day Hill Road, they attract primarily employees of the many businesses in Windsor’s corporate sector. But like many fitness facilities, their business was massively impacted by COVID-19. They were forced to close from March to June of 2020, eliminating all business entirely. Then, when they were able to open again, they struggled from a lack of volume, both because people were wary about coming to public spaces, but also because many of their members were working from home, and no longer frequenting the Day Hill area. Their finances took a huge hit, and it became a struggle to stay open. Then the ARF Small Business and Nonprofit Grant awarded them $10,000. The funding, while not enough to make their business what is was pre-pandemic, is a great help in keeping them operational as COVID persists. With the help of the grant funding, they will be able to keep their doors open, continuing to provide a great place for Windsor residents to get some exercise.
