Moneta Moments

Moneta Moments is a bakery, specializing in allergies and food sensitivities, which has been in operation in Windsor for a decade. The bakery aims to create beautiful and delicious baked goods for people with allergies, especially nut allergies. Much of their business comes from creating desserts for public and private events, from business gatherings to birthday parties. When the pandemic forced all those gatherings to stop, so did most of the bakery’s business. They were closed entirely for five months, and even once reopening, struggled to get enough orders to make ends meet. They also applied for additional assistance through the Payroll Protection Program, and were approved, but never received the funds. Needless to say, Moneta Moments was in serious need of some financial assistance when they applied for the ARF grant. They were awarded $10,000, which they hope to use to upgrade their displays and advertising, and cover some overdue payroll and bills. With a few upgrades, and a little luck, Moneta Moments will soon be back to creating allergen-free treats for all of Windsor to enjoy.
