Programs, Activities and Events

Windsor has a number of programs and services offered to its residents from Dial-A-Ride bus services for the towns seniors to various educational and recreation programs for kids and adults of all ages.

L.P. Wilson Community Center is a great place for seniors to come together and be social. 330 Windsor Ave, in addition to L.P.Wilson, provides space for many of the towns recreation programs including yoga classes, summer theater, a teen center (PAL) and much more.

There is also Northwest Park which is host to a Nature Center with hands-on exhibits, a living animal farm, a tobacco cultural museum, picnic pavilion, playground, maple sugar house and warming shed which are used throughout the year for a variety of public and school-related educational programs.

You can find specifics on many of the programs offered through the town in our seasonal There’s A Lot To Do In Windsor program brochure or our Events Calendar.

Citizen Involvement

We encourage our residents to be actively involved in the community. One of the best places to start is to attend town meetings or participate as a member of a board or commission.
