Baker Hollow Road Reconstruction

Baker Hollow Road Reconstruction Project

In another step towards improving local infrastructure, Windsor has appropriated $2,900,000 for the Baker Hollow Road Reconstruction Project. This initiative includes an allocation of $800,000 from American Rescue Funds, complemented by an additional $2,100,000 raised through bonds and notes. The funding will cover the comprehensive costs associated with bringing Baker Hollow Road up to town roadway construction standards.

Currently, Baker Hollow Road features segments that fall short of the town’s infrastructure requirements. This project aims to rectify these shortcomings, enhancing the road’s quality to support the growing needs of the Day Hill Road Corporate Area. By reconstructing this crucial roadway, Windsor will not only improve access but also foster development opportunities for current and prospective businesses along this corridor.

By ensuring that Baker Hollow Road meets modern standards, we are set to provide a robust foundation for economic growth. The American Rescue Funds serve as a critical component in this developmental strategy, showcasing our proactive approach to leveraging federal resources for local impact.
