Three Easy Steps to Get Started!

Step 1

Complete the Fitness Center Release of Liability Waiver and submit it to the Senior Center in person at the L.P. Wilson Community Center, or via email at seniorservices@townofwindsorct.com.

Step 2

Learn the ropes with Dee, our Fitness Instructor. We’ll schedule an exclusive orientation for you with all the fitness center equipment.

Step 3

Pick you package! Sign up for 6 months, or 12 months. Some insurance plans offer free annual membership!

Senior Center Fitness Classes

Take advantage of a wide-array of fitness classes that suit your interest. Your first class is always free – come try out a class to see if it meets your needs.

Silver Sneakers Classic:
Build confidence and endurance while safely seated in this class.

Silver Sneakers BOOM MUSCLE:
An aerobic workout to enhance your strength and endurance.

Chair Volleyball:
Bump, set, volley! Enjoy this seated team activity while enhancing focus and enjoying some friendly competition.

Daily Pickleball:
Enjoy friendly competition on the court while working up a sweat playing this wildly popular sport.

Happy Hikers Club:
Runs April –November. Group meets weekly to hike trails in CT and in MA.

Line Dancing with Connie:
Have fun while learning choreographed dance with others seniors. No partner needed.

Tai Chi with Ginger:
Flow into your day with gentle physical exercise and stretching.

Trail Riders Club:
Runs April – November. Ride locally on paved trails to enjoy exercise and beautiful scenery.

Walking Club:
Get your steps in with other seniors either on the walking path at the L.P. Wilson Center or indoors on inclement days.

Yoga with Marina:
60+ minutes in this session will help strengthen your core and enhance flexibility.
