SNAP

The SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance) program, formerly known as Food Stamps, provides monthly benefits that help low-income households to meet their nutritional needs.  Eligibility for SNAP benefits is based on monthly gross household income and assets.  The amount that a household will receive for their benefit will be based on the number of people in their household, income, rent and utility expense.  Click Here to view SNAP program guidelines.

Windsor Social Services hosts SNAP blitzes twice monthly for the benefit of Windsor residents. Foodshare volunteers will assist clients in completing their applications and re-determinations.
DUE TO COVID 19, the SNAP blitzes at LP Wilson are not currently being held.
To apply for SNAP benefits, please all FOODSHARE SNAP Outreach at 860-286-9999.
