The Social Services Department hosts informational events throughout the year focusing on various topics of interest. Event information can be found on our department social media, in our monthly newsletters and on the home page of our Social Services department website.
Diabetic Support Group
The Diabetic Support Group is designed for individuals with diabetes, their families, and their friends. The group meets on the third Tuesday of each month, with the exception of the summer months, at the L.P. Wilson Community Center from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Participants have an opportunity to learn from guest speakers on topics related to diabetes and from one another. Please call Social Services at 860-285-1839 for more information.

Teens Thriving Today
Social Services will be hosting this all inclusive youth led group for teens 14-16 years. Learn from peers in a supportive environment. Meet people, eat snacks, learn something new and have fun!
