To obtain a firearms permit in the State of Connecticut you must contact the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection and file the required documentation. If you are seeking a temporary state pistol permit you may also stop by our department in person. Relevant information is obtainable upon request in person through our records department. Lastly, we kindly ask that you do not bring your firearms with you to our department.
